Dread Gaze (Presence Two) can be used slightly differently in our game than in cannon. It functions in one of two ways.
The first way can be described as anti-Awe. You can, at will, invoke feelings of fear and respect in those around you. You roll Charisma + Intimidation against a diff of 7. A few successes will change peoples opinions of you in the short term, just like Awe. They will be more likely to listen to you because they fear you, or less likely to attack you for the same reason. It has little to no affect on those who are already attacking you. If you get a bunch of successes (5 or 6) it will have similar affects as the other use of Dread Gaze (see below). This affect does work on a room.
The white wolf cannon dread gaze power still works as normal. You have to do something scary, baring fangs and hissing always works, but, depending on the person being affected making your eyes glow, bending a gladius, etc might all work. Making your eyes glow isn't going to scare most vampires but punching through a shop owner's wall will certainly scare him. In other words, the situation affects your difficulty. Not doing anything particularly supernatural increases your difficulty by 3. Base difficulty is the target's Wits + Courage and again the roll is Charisma + Intimidation. One or two successes will make the person back away, more will make them run and even more will cause them to flee at full speed or cower before you. (basically getting below half their will power in successes makes them back away, getting between full willpower and half makes them run and getting more than willpower makes them cower or flee at full speed). As usual this can be resisted with a single point of willpower. This affect works in combat but only works on one person. For a group of people, one person is affected severely and the rest are affected as per the "lesser" use of this power (anti-Awe).
